Configuration
The URL of your ScreenConnect / ConnectWise Control instance (cloud or self-hosted).
Leave blank for cloud instances. Needed if deployments fail with "Must specify relay host". Easiest: in your instance go to Host page > Build Installer, copy the generated installer URL, and paste the whole thing here - the relay host, port, and encryption key are extracted automatically. Or enter it manually as
host:port (default relay port is 8041).
The access session group used in join links - the top group in your Host page's left panel. Modern instances default to
All Machines, older ones to All Sessions. Leave blank to use All Machines.
Leave blank for cloud instances. Needed if deployments fail with "Must specify encryption key" - it's the
k= parameter in your Build Installer URL (your server's public key, safe to store). Pasting the full URL into the Relay Address field fills this in for you.
How it works
- This is a "bring your own" integration - you keep your existing ScreenConnect instance (cloud or self-hosted, e.g.
https://remote.yourcompany.com:443). - On managed asset pages, an "Install ScreenConnect" button deploys the access agent silently through the RMM agent, preconfigured for your instance and organized by customer name.
- Once installed, the button becomes "ScreenConnect" and joins that machine's session directly (your Host page opens and auto-launches the connection).
- Sessions launch through your ScreenConnect instance exactly as they do today - no credentials are stored here.
Finding your instance URL
- Log in to ScreenConnect (ConnectWise Control) as you normally do.
- Copy the address from your browser up to the domain (e.g.
https://yourcompany.screenconnect.com). - Paste it above - don't include
/Hostor anything after the domain.
